I am pursuing a position as a therapy intern, with experience in peer support, psychological research, and counseling skills development. Through my work as a Peer Supporter at Washington State University’s VCEA Wellness Center, I provided non-clinical emotional support, practiced active listening, and connected students with appropriate resources. As a research assistant in the Culture and Wellness Lab, I explored cultural influences on mental health stigma, self-image, and help-seeking behaviors across East Asian and U.S. contexts. I have also supported counseling skills training by observing role-play sessions and providing constructive feedback.
