As a Therapist Intern with an academic background in psychology, I strive to create a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward personal growth. I value the importance of understanding each person’s unique circumstances and recognize how life experiences, relationships, and emotional challenges can influence mental well-being. My approach draws on principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and acceptance and commitment approaches to support emotional awareness, coping skills, and resilience. I have a particular interest in supporting children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, relationship challenges, family dynamics, self-esteem concerns, and stress.
