ANELU VALENCIA REDOR

I am a student intern currently taking up Masters of Arts in Psychology major in Clinical Psychology at De la Salle University-Dasmarinas, Cavite, Philippines. I am especially interested in furthering my training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for the treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Deep Brain Reorientation (DBT) on children, and/or Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavior Therapy to prevent relapse of depression. I follow an existential-humanistic approach to therapy and, as a therapist, I am open to a Christian-based approach as requested by the client. My research study for my thesis writing has a Christian-holistic approach to pain and suffering through awareness of embodied emotions-accepting and recognizing the pain as a spiritual experience and encounter.
