Krishna Patel

As a therapy intern, I am currently in the process of specializing in anxiety, depression and self-esteem. The modalities I want to gain experience in are CBT, solution-focused therapy, and Internal Family Systems, but I am interested in all modalities, as each has different strengths I want to implement in counselling. I am in the process of obtaining my master's in counselling psychology and have learned extensively about individual and group counselling as well as couple and family therapy. In the future, I want to be able to provide compassionate client-focused care that looks at the client holistically and understands how a person’s upbringing and life experiences can impact how they think, make choices, and influence their worldview.
