About

I am a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology student with 15 years of experience in community mental health, disability services, crisis intervention, advocacy, peer support, and group facilitation. I use a collaborative, pluralistic, trauma-informed approach that is client-centered and strength-based. I draw from evidence-informed practices, including Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailoring counselling to each client’s unique needs, goals and experiences. I strive to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
