Daniela Simon

I am a Master's student in Health and Medical Psychology at Leiden University in Netherlands with a foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). To further broaden my clinical skills, I am currently completing professional training in the Unified Protocol for Emotional Disorders and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for trauma. Having personally experienced stress and burnout and benefited from ACT, I have developed a genuine appreciation for the therapeutic process and the importance of empathy in clinical practice. I am comfortable working with both adults and adolescents and strive to create a supportive, collaborative, and evidence-based therapeutic environment. I am eager to continue developing my clinical skills while contributing to high-quality mental health care.
