As a registered social worker currently undertaking a Master’s in Psychology, I bring over three years of quality-assured placement experience across diverse practice settings. My background includes a year within a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school, where I delivered pastoral care and tailored 1:1 support to students from a wide range of social, emotional, and cultural backgrounds. In addition, my experience within a safeguarding and welfare team has enabled me to provide holistic, trauma-informed support to vulnerable individuals. I adopt a person-centred, strengths-based approach, ensuring that interventions are responsive to each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and risks. My practice is underpinned by a strong understanding of safeguarding frameworks, multi-agency collaboration, and risk assessment, alongside a commitment to promoting resilience, empowerment, and long-term wellbeing. I am particularly skilled in building trusting relationships, managing complex cases, and working sensitively with individuals who have experienced trauma, adversity, or social disadvantage. My combined training in social work and psychology allows me to integrate theory with practice, offering reflective, evidence-based support that prioritises both protection and personal development.
