About

My name is Nora Rabasot. I am Spanish, and grew up in Poland as well as Belgium, while studying in the French system. I am currently a third-year student in Liberal Arts at Maastricht University, specializing in Psychology. I am applying for the role of Clinical Psychology Intern at Mantra Care in the Netherlands. Helping other people through human contact is essential for me, which is why I have decided to specialize in clinical psychology. I am an empathetic and enthusiastic person. For the past 3 years, I have been volunteering at the Levanto Group Buddy Program. Levanto is an association that focuses on accompanying people who are diagnosed with a psychiatric vulnerability and are excluded from society due to this. As a volunteer I am paired up with a patient, and meet her every week to do things that she may be afraid of doing on her own, or to listen and talk to her. These interactions are not only helpful to her, but also bring me energy. Before moving to Maastricht I also volunteered at an association called Les Guetteurs de l’Aube where I mainly visited elderly homes and refugee centers. In all of these experiences, I found human contact and was able to connect with and help people. I believe this is an essential asset as a clinical psychologist. I see Mantra Care as an innovative way of using AI for well-being. I have seen from friends and family how difficult it can be for companies to balance well-being and work. Therefore I am enthusiastic to be part of the Mantra Care initiative. I strongly believe I would be a good addition to the Mantra Care team. Because I am studying a Bachelor of Liberal Arts, I have a holistic approach on human well-being. I have knowledge on different psychological techniques, as well as a background in biology, health, and sociology. I am also interested in mindfulness and meditation, and have been trying to apply it to my daily life since 2020. This gives me yet another perspective on well-being and how to interact with people around me. I am organized, and capable of working both in person and online. I am eager to gain experience, and to learn from other professionals. I strongly believe I could thrive and be a meaningful addition to the Mantra Care team.
