About

I am currently entering my second year of my MSc in Psychology with The Open University, having worked hard to achieve a strong first-year result and currently working towards a distinction. Alongside my academic studies, I am highly motivated to gain real-world clinical experience that will allow me to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical setting. I am particularly interested in developing my skills within digital mental healthcare, and the opportunity at MantraCare strongly appeals to me due to its structured, evidence-based approach and focus on accessible online therapy. I am eager to observe and support therapy sessions, contribute to case documentation, and learn directly from experienced professionals in a supervised environment. Through my studies, I have developed a solid understanding of core psychological concepts and an awareness of key mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. I am especially keen to build my knowledge of evidence-based approaches such as CBT and REBT, and to understand how these are applied in real therapy settings. I am a dedicated and reliable individual with strong communication and organisational skills, and I understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards at all times. I am also confident working independently in a remote environment and am fully committed to engaging with structured training and supervision. This internship represents an important step in my goal of pursuing a career in clinical or counselling psychology, and I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn, develop, and contribute within a supportive and professional digital mental health platform.
