Chiamaka Sylvia Ezeribeaku

I am a psychology graduate with a Master’s degree in General Psychology and a background in Sociology, with a strong interest in clinical psychology and mental health support. I am currently seeking to gain practical experience as a psychology intern, where I can apply my knowledge in real-life settings while continuing to learn under professional supervision. Through my academic training, I have developed a solid understanding of psychological concepts, including behavioral patterns, emotional regulation, and mental health challenges such as anxiety and stress. In addition, my experience in roles involving direct interaction with people, as well as my volunteering with the Nigerian Red Cross, has helped me build strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills. I am particularly interested in supporting individuals through emotional and psychological difficulties, whether through observation, guided interaction, or structured support systems. I am committed to maintaining confidentiality, showing compassion, and approaching every individual with respect and understanding. While I am still at the early stage of my clinical journey, I am highly motivated, open to feedback, and eager to develop my skills in mental health assessment, therapeutic support, and evidence-based practice.
