I am currently pursuing an MSc in Mental Health Studies at King’s College London, having graduated with a high upper second-class degree in Psychology from Queen Mary University of London last year. My academic training has provided me with a strong foundation in psychological theory, research methods, and evidence-based approaches to mental health, with particular interests in anxiety, depression and psychosis. Through my studies, I have developed skills in critical analysis, research design, and scientific writing, including conducting an independent undergraduate dissertation on non-verbal emotional communication. I am also currently working on my postgraduate dissertation about how family contact affects acute and mental health outcomes in individuals with psychosis. I am keen to build on this academic background by gaining practical experience in clinical settings, particularly in developing skills in patient interaction, assessment, and ethical practice.
