As a Psychology Intern, I provide client-centered support to individuals navigating emotional and mental health challenges through chat- and video-based platforms. I work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and young adults, offering a supportive space to process concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and interpersonal functioning. My approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, emphasizing empathy, active listening, and culturally responsive communication. I utilize evidence-based techniques drawn from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation to help clients build emotional regulation skills, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and develop healthier coping strategies. Through both synchronous (video) and asynchronous (chat) formats, I adapt my communication style to meet each client’s needs while maintaining engagement and therapeutic rapport. In addition to direct client support, I conduct brief clinical assessments to identify presenting concerns, monitor risk factors, and determine appropriate next steps in care. I am experienced in recognizing signs of crisis and collaborating with supervisors or care teams to ensure client safety and appropriate intervention when needed. I maintain accurate and timely documentation within digital platforms and adhere to ethical standards, including confidentiality, informed consent, and professional boundaries. My experience working across virtual modalities has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, manage time effectively, and provide consistent, high-quality care in a remote environment. Overall, I am committed to supporting clients in building insight, resilience, and meaningful progress toward their mental health goals.
