Ben McAleese

A Clinical Neuropsychology MSc candidate with a BA in Psychology from Trinity College Dublin. I have practical experience supporting individuals with neurological conditions, psychiatric disorders, and complex health needs across hospital and neurorehabilitation settings. Currently undertaking a supervised psychology internship at a hospital, assisting with neuropsychological assessment and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. I have an academic grounding in psychoeducation and evidence-based approaches, including CBT and motivational interviewing. Through my ongoing volunteer work providing support to individuals with sight loss, I have developed strong active listening skills and a non-judgmental, person-centred approach that promotes client autonomy and wellbeing.
