About

I am a Psychology Intern committed to creating a warm, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in genuine human connection. My goal is to help clients explore their experiences with curiosity, build greater self-awareness, and develop practical tools for meaningful change. I work from a client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive perspective. I understand that each person’s story is shaped by their relationships, identities, environment, and life experiences, and I strive to honour that complexity in the therapeutic process. I aim to meet clients where they are, whether they are seeking support for stress, anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, relationship concerns, or personal growth. As an intern, I bring both clinical training and a deep respect for the vulnerability it takes to reach out for support. I value authenticity, empathy, and trust, and I work to foster a therapeutic space where clients feel safe reflecting openly and moving at their own pace. I also believe therapy can be a place not only for healing, but for empowerment, insight, and reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been overlooked or silenced. I am especially interested in supporting individuals navigating identity, belonging, interpersonal challenges, and the impact of difficult life experiences. My approach integrates evidence-based practice with compassion and curiosity, always tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. Seeking support is a meaningful first step, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they work toward healing, clarity, and a more grounded sense of self.
