A motivated and compassionate B.Sc Psychology graduate with practical experience supporting vulnerable adults through my role as a Review and Support Officer at Hull City Council within Adult Social Services. I have developed strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills while working closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to assess needs, review care arrangements, and ensure individuals receive appropriate support. My experience has strengthened my understanding of human behaviour, safeguarding, wellbeing, and the social factors that influence mental health. I am skilled in active listening, maintaining professional boundaries, and handling sensitive information with empathy and confidentiality. I also have experience working within structured systems, managing case records, and supporting decision making processes that promote independence and quality of life. I am seeking a Psychology Internship where I can apply my academic knowledge and frontline experience to support psychological services, develop practical clinical and research skills, and contribute to improving mental health outcomes. I am particularly interested in roles that involve assessment, behavioural observation, and supporting individuals facing psychological or social challenges. My long term goal is to build a professional career within psychology, contributing to evidence based practice and person centred support.
