Sara Mohamed Salim

As a psychology intern at Heart it Out, Bangalore, I observed therapy sessions and prepared case notes while understanding different counselling approaches like ACT, REBT, Solution-focused, Narrative Therapy and Strength based therapy. I learned practical techniques through workshops in CBT, Child Therapy, Advanced Counselling Skills, Couples Therapy and Workplace Counselling, all accredited by ICEPM, IAOTH and ISO. I also worked on a research project titled "The History of BPD". It got me very interested in the study and history of the disorder and I hope to work on another research project regarding it in the future. Lastly, I designed and hosted a Wellbeing Event in collaboration with my team members.
