About

I am an emerging counselling psychology professional currently pursuing a Diploma to deepen my knowledge and practical skills in mental health, emotional well-being, and personal development. My training has equipped me with competencies in active listening, client assessment, crisis intervention, and ethical counseling practice, enabling me to support individuals experiencing emotional distress, stress, trauma, anxiety, and life challenges in a compassionate and structured manner. I am particularly drawn to Mantracare’s commitment to making high-quality, evidence-based mental health support accessible and responsive to individual needs. I value a client-centered, non-judgmental approach and understand the importance of confidentiality, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity when working with diverse populations. Previously, I worked for six years as a senior technical support specialist and five years as a freelance content writer and researcher. These roles strengthened my problem-solving skills, emotional regulation under pressure, and ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, skills that translate effectively into therapeutic and support-focused environments. As a counseling intern, I am eager to learn within a multidisciplinary mental health setting, contribute meaningfully to client well-being, and support Mantracare’s mission of promoting psychological resilience and holistic mental health care.
