In my role as an intern at BUDS Special School, I was responsible for a variety of clinical and educational tasks centered on student well-being. I was actively involved in conducting and monitoring diverse activities designed to maintain high levels of engagement and physical well-being for children with special needs. I was tasked with implementing structured morning routines and therapeutic movement exercises to enhance students' cognitive and motor skills. Furthermore, I was instrumental in integrating educational psychology by utilizing assistive technology, specifically Smartboards, to create interactive, dexterity-enhancing lessons tailored to the specific learning profiles of the students. I was also focused on multidisciplinary collaboration, partnering closely with teachers and specialized staff to ensure cohesive, individualized learning experiences within a nurturing environment. Beyond the classroom, I was responsible for organizing inclusive social activities and cultural celebrations, such as Eid, to promote social interaction and artistic understanding. Finally, I was dedicated to providing essential care and supervision during meal times, where I focused on promoting healthy eating habits and fostering positive social behaviors in a group setting.
