Helly Bharat

I am a second-year student at the University of Warwick, studying Psychology BSc. With extensive experience supporting young people in early development, academic growth and emotional wellbeing, I have enhanced my interpersonal and communication skills. As an email counsellor at Childline, I respond to messages from children experiencing mental health challenges. I provide empathetic and confidential support. This experience has strengthened my skills in crisis communication and reflective practice, which I also draw on in my work as a youth support worker. I look forward to continuing to develop my counselling and psychology skills through practical experience and research opportunities.
