I am a psychology intern and current student with a strong interest in understanding human behavior, mental health, and recovery across the lifespan. Through my academic training and hands-on experience, I am developing foundational clinical skills while working under supervision in therapeutic and assessment-based settings. I approach my work with curiosity, empathy, and a commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice. As part of my internship experience, I have supported individuals experiencing eating disorders by assisting with psychoeducation, treatment planning, and therapeutic activities that promote healthy coping strategies and self-awareness. I value a non-judgmental, person-centered approach that prioritizes dignity, trust, and collaboration, recognizing the complex emotional, cognitive, and social factors involved in disordered eating. I have also gained experience working with individuals affected by traumatic brain injury (TBI). In this role, I assist with behavioral observation, cognitive support strategies, and rehabilitation-focused interventions aimed at improving daily functioning and quality of life. This work has strengthened my understanding of neuropsychological principles, brain-behavior relationships, and the importance of interdisciplinary care. As a psychology student, I am committed to continuous learning and professional growth. I am particularly interested in integrating psychological theory with real-world clinical application while developing strong communication, assessment, and intervention skills. My long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to mental health services and advocate for accessible, compassionate care for individuals facing complex psychological and neurological challenges.
