As a therapy intern, I gained hands-on exposure through client sessions, clinical documentation, and assisting with assessments, which strengthened my practical understanding of counselling work. Alongside this, my years of academic training in psychology—now in the final stage of completing my Master’s degree—have equipped me with a strong theoretical foundation. This combination of sustained learning and field experience has helped me develop ethical awareness, empathy, clinical observation, and professional communication.
