I have gained practical experience through clinical and volunteering roles. As a Psychology Intern at Kids Neuro Clinic, Dubai, I contributed to scoring psychological assessments, assisted in report writing, and observed assessments and therapy sessions. Additionally, as a Student Volunteer at the MENATA Conference (2024), I supported clinicians in facilitating grief circles to promote shared healing and assisted in managing the Wellbeing Room, providing a safe and supportive environment for participants. These experiences enriched my clinical insight while developing my ability to work compassionately with clients and collaboratively with professionals. Further, I completed an Advanced Clinical Practice Apprenticeship program, which provided training in ethics, clinical interviewing, case formulation, differential diagnosis, and assessment reporting. This has enhanced my problem-solving, communication, and clinical reasoning skills, which I am eager to apply in practice.
