I am a dedicated and empathetic Therapy Intern with a strong foundation in mental health care and clinical practice. I am a Registered Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse (RPN/MHN) and a Registered Nurse (RN), with over two years of hands-on experience supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health conditions across clinical settings. My professional training has equipped me with solid skills in mental status assessment, therapeutic communication, patient observation, documentation, and collaborative care planning. I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams to support clients experiencing depression, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, substance use disorders, and emotional or behavioral difficulties. Under supervision, I have participated in individual and group therapeutic activities, psychosocial interventions, patient education, and crisis de-escalation. As a Therapy Intern, I bring a client-centered and trauma-informed approach to care, grounded in empathy, respect, and ethical practice. I am skilled in building rapport, maintaining professional boundaries, ensuring confidentiality, and delivering culturally sensitive support tailored to individual needs.
