I have gained hands-on experience supporting individuals in therapeutic and developmental settings through my internship at the JCC Special Services Department and my shadowing experience at Yavneh Academy. At the JCC, I worked with adults with special needs, assisting in physical activities, music therapy, and swimming therapy, helping clients engage safely and meaningfully in each session while supporting individual goals. At Yavneh Academy, I shadowed a pre-kindergarten student, observing and learning to support early childhood development, social-emotional growth, and personalized engagement strategies. These experiences strengthened my understanding of therapy techniques, client-centered care, and the importance of patience, observation, and ethical practice in diverse settings.
