Aya Saeed

As a therapy intern, I will do my best to provide support to people who are in need. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with honours. I have experience interning in different hospitals, in which I was taught about the theoretical and practical aspects of a working psychologist and the cases they work with, from depressive and anxiety disorders to substance use and psychotic disorders. As an intern, I will provide support to clients by listening attentively to their complaints, providing empathy and displaying genuine care and interest so that every person feels like they're in a safe space and that they're heard, in addition to learning and gaining information from the more experienced practitioners so I can improve my skills and help provide better services.
