Nikoleta N. Strofylla is a Psychologist (BSc, First Class Honours) licensed to practice (License No. 995209/25), a trainee Relational Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, and a trainee Clinical Psychologist. She graduated from the University of Essex (Department of Psychology) and is currently completing a Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) in Clinical Skills grounded in Relational Psychoanalysis/Psychotherapy at the Institute for Relational & Group Psychotherapy (ISOPS, Athens, Greece). In parallel, she is pursuing an MSc in Clinical Psychology at Aegean College, Athens in collaboration with the University of Essex, UK. Since February 2025, she has completed a substantial number of clinical practice hours and remains in continuous supervision alongside personal psychotherapy, both individual and group on a weekly basis. As part of her practicum, she conducts individual sessions at ISOPS and provides psychological support at the KMOP “Ariadne” Day Center, psychoeducational and creative groups, and psychosocial rehabilitation activities in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. She also maintains a private practice, offering online sessions to adolescents and adults in Greek and English. She regularly participates in international seminars, conferences, large groups, and training programs in Greece and abroad with distinguished faculty and facilitators. Notably, she has attended the 21st IARPP Annual Conference (Athens) and the 10th International Conference on Group Analysis (Belgrade), continuously strengthening her professional development and ongoing education. Her therapeutic orientation centers on Relational Psychoanalysis, working reparatively through the therapeutic alliance and giving space to personal history, unconscious dynamics, and the relational patterns that shape the psyche. She places particular emphasis on dream analysis as a gateway to the inner world and a core tool for understanding internal reality. As a clinical psychologist in training, she supports individuals presenting with a broad spectrum of difficulties, including mood disorders (anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias, bipolar disorder), personality disorders (notably borderline and narcissistic presentations), addictions, psychosomatic symptoms, psychoses, and issues related to traumatic experiences and abuse. She also accompanies clients facing relational difficulties or navigating major life transitions and adaptations. She is a member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy (IARPP) and the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).
